Speech therapy in schools around Herefordshire

I am now taking my speech therapy services into the primary schools of Ludlow, Herefordshire and South Shropshire.

My school speech therapy services can be broken down into the following 4 stages.
Teletherapy

#1 Assessments

An assessment is an essential step in a successful therapy programme. I will provide each student with a thorough assessment and detailed assessment report with recommendations and advice before therapy begins, so that your students can access support and start achieving!

#2 Therapy Sessions

KidsTalk Speech Therapy recognises the importance of regular, quality speech language therapy sessions. Therapy sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on the needs of the student. 

Teaching assistants working with the students are encouraged to participate in the therapy sessions, as this helps with carryover of activities, strategies and skills between therapy sessions. Goals and progress are discussed with the class teacher and/or SENCO, and advice and resources are provided.


#3 IEP's and Review Meetings

Detailed speech and language goals will be provided for each student, which can be used in the student's I.E.P.

Attendance at review meetings can be organised on request.

#4 Staff Training and Consultation

KidsTalk Speech Therapy is always available to work with support staff and to consult with teachers to empower your team.
